Salish Sea Bioregion Census WA Tracts 2010 and BC SubDivisions 2011

Census records related to population, age, sex, and ethnicity and race for the Salish Sea Bioregion. Created for the Salish Sea Atlas (https://wp.wwu.edu/salishseaatlas/). Data harmonized using 2010 Census Tracts for Washington and 2011 SubDivisions for British Columbia. Data for land only, marine waters excluded from Census boundaries. Manually corrected for gaps and overlaps at the international border. All processing and analysis was completed using the NAD 83 UTM Zone 10N projection and coordinate system. Attribute fields were edited or new fields were calculated where needed to create directly comparable attribute data for the US and Canada.
