Analysis of Emotional Intelligence in Night Psychology Students through the Application of TMMS-24.

The purpose of this article is to present the results of the application of the TMMS-24 (Trait Meta-Mood Scale) questionnaire in a sample of university students from the evening Psychology program. This instrument evaluates three dimensions of emotional intelligence: emotional perception, emotional comprehension, and emotional regulation. The sample consisted of third-semester students. The data were analyzed using quantitative tools that made it possible to identify the levels of emotional competence by dimension. The results showed a general trend toward medium levels of emotional intelligence, with a higher proportion of students scoring high in emotional perception and low in comprehension. These findings reveal the
current level of emotional intelligence among psychology students in relation to their daily lives and interpersonal relationships, as well as how they interact with their emotions and the extent to which these may affect their everyday experiences.
