Intestinal microbiome of CD-1 mice

In this study, we showed that BPS exposure induced dysbiosis of gut microbiota, which further resulted in intestinal permeability and inflammation, and ultimately damaged oocyte quality. More importantly, we found that alginate oligosaccharide (AOS) reshapes the intestinal microbiota to improve intestinal homeostasis and thus prevents the deleterious effects of BPS on intestine and oocytes. 16S rRNA reads from intestinal microbiome of CD-1 mice with BPS or AOS or AOS/BPS or without AOS/BPS treatment. We also detected intestinal microbiome of faecal microbiota transplanted from BPS or without BPS treated mice.
