Water balance of the Pantanal wetland

This dataset refers to a tool created through ArcGIS 10 ModelBuilder and serves to perform the vertical water balance in any region of the planet that is within the scope of TRMM and MOD16A data. In addition, another tool is also present here to estimate the probabilities of hydrological conditions in the Pantanal wetland. The first tool mentioned above performs the vertical water balance (precipitation - evapotranspiration) of a given area through rainfall data from the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) and evapotranspiration of MOD16A. The precipitation data to be used in the tool is the TRMM-3B43 products. The evapotranspiration data used should be the MOD16A2 products of the Numerical Terradynamic Simulation Group (NTSG). The second tool is a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet formatted to perform the estimation of probabilities of hydrological conditions (Well-Developed Flood, Flood, Drought, Great Drought) in the Pantanal wetlands.
