Comparison of Campylobacter jejuni subsp. jejuni Raw sequence reads

In this study, we evolved C. jejuni strains which can grow in the presence of human breast milk. We found that cell membrane alterations may be involved in the resistance to the antimicrobial properties of human breast milk. These bacterial membrane changes are linked to the acyl carrier protein, AcpP. This study provides some insights into possible strategies of how C. jejuni can survive and propagate in the gut of breastfed infants from LMICs.
