The study utilized a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative approach. The approach design is two groups model involving a pre-test, treatment, and post-test. the study sample was (40) undergraduate students who registered in the first year of English Department, their ages ranged between (18-25) years. The experimental group was taught reading comprehension using ChatGPT web application, whereas the control group received standard instruction. The results revealed that the experimental group showed significant improvements in reading comprehension scores after the intervention.
