For the first time, this dataset provides daily carbon dioxide emission data for China's 31 provinces including Tibet, covering three core sectors: electric power, industry and ground transportation. It also unveils for the first time the seasonal, weekly and holiday-based fluctuation trends of provincial carbon dioxide emissions. Weekly and holiday attribution data has been incorporated into this dataset to enable further research on the impacts of weekends and holidays on China's carbon dioxide emissions.
