GeoSpace Data Interpretation Resource; Metadata Catalog v0.1.0 Dataset Description : Dataset Description Each record is an "exposure–outcome association" extracted from the scientific literature, and linked to the corresponding PubMed publication. The dataset includes : name of exposure, exposure domain (e.g., air quality, weather, and other environmental factors), outcome domain Level 1 (e.g., Health Outcome or Biological Pathways) , Outcome Domain Level 2 (disease or organ-system domains e.g., Cardiovascular Health, Neurological Health, Renal Health), and outcome name ( e.g. IL-6). For each exposure–outcome pair, the dataset records the reported direction of association (e.g., positive, negative, or null), biospecimen information when available, publication identifier (PMID), dataset source, dataset type, and metadata describing linked external datasets and databases (e.g. Clinicaltrial). Future versions of this dataset will include additional columns covering technical variables, epidemiological and clinical variables, and more detailed sub-classifications of health outcomes. We are working on integrating the data field values (e.g., gene names and exposure names) with relevant ontology resources to improve standardization, interoperability, and data integration across biomedical and environmental health databases.
