Single cell transcriptomic analysis of Arabidopsis thaliana roots infected with Phytophthora capsica.

This project investigates the early molecular response of Arabidopsis thaliana roots to infection with the oomycete pathogen Phytophthora capsici. Using single-nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNA-seq), we profiled transcriptional changes 24 hours post-inoculation compared to non-infected controls. The dataset provides insight into plant-pathogen interactions at the cellular level, with potential to uncover genes and pathways involved in immune defense and susceptibility.
