收藏资源简介:
Historical Postcards from the Raffaele Florio Collection This dataset contains 25 digitised historical postcards from the Raffaele Florio Collection, curated by GoTellGo Cultural Association within the MUSEU Project. The collection documents military units and indigenous formations of the Italian colonial forces in East Africa, including Eritrean battalions, Ascari, Dubat, colonial legions and other military organisations active during the Italian colonial period (ca. 1935–1941). Each record includes descriptive metadata such as title, creator (when known), date, description, subject, material, printing technique, current holding location and rights information. Every postcard is represented by two digital images corresponding to the front and reverse sides. The metadata have been mapped to the Europeana Data Model (EDM) and documented according to DCAT-AP and the Europeana Dataset Datasheet to support interoperability, publication and reuse within the Common European Data Space for Cultural Heritage. The package includes: Dataset metadata in Excel format (.xlsx) High-resolution digital images of the postcards (front and reverse) Metadata Crosswalk (EDM Mapping) DCAT Dataset Profile Europeana Dataset Datasheet README This dataset is intended for research, education, provenance research and cultural heritage documentation.
