FAO Locust Watch is a desert locust monitoring database maintained by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). It provides real-time monitoring, early warning and information services for the global desert locust (Schistocerca gregaria). This database contains locust activity data, forecast information, national reports and response measures, aiming to help governments and organizations worldwide address the threat posed by this most destructive migratory pest to food security and rural livelihoods.
