## **Abstract** \n\nThis dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.\n\n\n\nThe dataset is an ENVI format raster at 0.05 degree resolution (\\~ 5 km) for the mean annual runoff for 1982-2010 using Choudhury's (1999) form of the 'Budyko-framework'. The mean annual runoff was created as per Donohue et al (2011). The data represent the runoff expected from the steady-state 'Budyko curve' long-term mean annual water-energy limit approach using BAWAP precipitation (Jones et al 2009) and the Penman potential ET (Donohue et al 2010; using the wind data from McVicar et al 2008) as input. A brief introduction to the 'Budyko-framework' is found in McVicar et al (2015).\n\n\n\nChoudhury BJ (1999) Evaluation of an empirical equation for annual evaporation using field observations and results from a biophysical model.
