Strait of Georgia Ferry Data by STRATOGEM: Horseshoe Bay/Departure Bay, Canada
收藏资源简介:
The STRATOGEM program instrumented a BC Ferry traveling regularly between Tsawwassen/Duke Point. The ferry track runs across the large Fraser river and into the clearer water of the north, allowing an assessment of the influence that plume dynamics have within this ecosystem. The ferry, equipped with a thermosalinograph, chlorophyll fluorometer, data logger, and, intermittently, an ultra-violet spectrophotometric nitrate sensor, may sample up to eight times per day, record position and water property data at 2 - 10 second intervals. This ferry route has been in operation since 11 March 2003. Data sets are provided online at http://www.stratogem.ubc.ca/BCFerry/North/ Deposited content: descriptive metadata only; underlying research data are not included.
