Devpost's database of hackathons and hackathon projects

This study utilizes the Devpost database, which encompasses 193,353 hackathon projects and their associated information. Following rigorous screening, 10,363 innovative projects were retained for investigating how participants' characteristics, collaboration patterns, and hackathon configurations influence the development of creative projects. Originating from real-world creative initiatives, this dataset exhibits high ecological validity and is suitable for large-scale creative evaluation research.
