The layer only includes center based child day care locations (including those located at schools and religious institutes) and does not include group, home, and family based child day cares. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), “Child care centers provide care for groups of children, often placed in classrooms by age. They typically have many staff members who care for children.
