In our previous study, we reported a 92-kb chromosomal deletion in a strain of AAB (Acetobacter pasteurianus IFO 3283-01-42C, namely Apas42) that had acclimated wild-type strain (Acetobacter pasteurianus IFO 3283-01, namely Apas30) to restrictive temperatures. In this study, we investigated the genes responsible for thermotolerance in Apas42 using next-generation sequencing.
