The goals of this study are to identify the differentially expressed genes in the roots of OsMYB305 overexpressed Rice growing under low nitrogen condition. Overall design: Root mRNA profiles of wild-type (WT) and OsMYB305 overexpressed Rice growing under low nitrogen condition for 14 days were generated by deep sequencing, in bipartite, using HiseqXten-PE150. The sequence reads were first filtered with the FastQC v0.11.8;then pre-processed using the Trimmomatic-0.38;then mapping with Hisat2 v2.1.0;finally differentially-expressed genes(DEGs) were identified using the Cufflinks v2.2. OE15 and OE20 are independent transgenic lines of OsMYB305 which have very similar phenotypes compared to WT under low N treatment: growth advantages, increased N concentrations, decreased cellulose contents, etc.
