Data for community carbon fluxes, plant composition, species diversity, functional traits and abiotic factors in a warming x removal experiment in two New Zealand alpine tussock grasslands

Dataset for a warming x invader removal experiment in New Zealand at two invaded alpine sites (shrub invaded and forb invaded) with plot-level carbon flux values (Net Ecosystem Exchange: NEE, Gross primary productivity: GPP, and Ecosystem respiration: ER), plant community composition, species diversity, abiotic data and plant functional traits. Trait values were collected for the dominant species. This dataset is part of a study to test whether experimental warming alters invasion impacts on ecosystem carbon balance and to explore the drivers of carbon fluxes under functionally different plant invaders.
