The aim of this work was to study the function of the transcription factor Serum Response Factor (SRF) in mural cells of the mouse retina. We used bulk RNA-sequencing to find major differences. Retinal mural cells (MCs) were isolated from SRF-KO and Control animals and sorted by FACS (exclusion of CD140a, CD31, CD45 and DAPI positive cells, inclusion of CD140b positive cells only)
