Opinion on workplace gender discrimination reasons in China 2023, by gender

According to an annual survey conducted in China in the beginning of 2023, around 57 percent of surveyed female professionals said that gender inequality at work persists because of the ongoing childbirth burden for women. Only 30 percent of male respondents agreed with that opinion. However, significantly higher proportion of men than women thought that gender discrimination at work is caused by natural characteristics of gender.

根据2023年初在中国进行的一项年度调查，约57%的受访女性专业人士表示，由于女性持续面临的生育负担，职场性别不平等现象依然存在。然而，仅有30%的男性受访者认同这一观点。尽管如此，相较于女性，认为职场性别歧视源于性别自然特征的男性比例显著高于女性。
