This dataset covers global landslide events spanning from January 1, 1915 to June 30, 2021, sourced from NASA Landslide Viewer. It contains two types of geospatial data: point data and polygon data. The point data includes over 30 fields such as object ID, information source, event time, landslide category, and latitude and longitude. The polygon data adds two additional fields, shape length and shape area, based on the point data. The data is available in shp, csv and gdb formats, using the WGS84 coordinate system, with a temporal resolution accurate to the day. It can be used to analyze the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of global landslides, the correlation between landslides and their triggering factors, as well as disaster impact assessment, providing data support for global landslide prevention and mitigation.
