To determine the role of sulforaphane in infecting mycobacterium abscessus macrophages, we performed microarray-based whole transcriptome analysis as a discovery platform to identify differentially expressed genes in the THP-1 model. One group was set as an uninfected group, one group as sulforaphane group and one group as mycobacterium abscessus infected group. 24 hours later RNA was collected for sequencing and three replicate samples were set in each group.
