Association of Gestational Diabetes With the Dynamic Changes of Gut Microbiota in Offspring

Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), 1 of the most common medical disorders during pregnancy, was also found to be associated with altered gut microbiota composition in the offspring.Questions remain regarding the influence of GDM on infant gut microbiota composition.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of gestational diabetes mellitus and weight changes during pregnancy on the intestinal microbiota of offspring, and further clarify the correlation between weight changes during pregnancy and the intestinal microbiota of offspring.
