Biological Phosphorus Removal and its Microbial Community in a Modified Full-Scale Activated Sludge System under Dry and Wet Weather Dynamics

This study aims to understand the changes in wastewater microbial communities upon treatment alteration to improve removal of phosphorus from wastewater discharge. Changes in the microbial community can have significant impacts on not just phosphorus removal but other wastewater treatment objectives, which can in turn impact public and environmental health.
