This file contains a dataset collected using the CCFNI-ED (Critical Care Family Needs Inventory – Emergency Department) instrument. The instrument items were assessed using a 4-point Likert scale, where:

1 = Not Important
2 = Slightly Important
3 = Important
4 = Very Important

The Likert scale is used to measure respondents’ perceived level of importance regarding various needs of family members in the emergency department context.
