该数据集以西南三省一市1：50万红层空间分布为主,数据源于四川、贵州和云南区域地质调查队,首先西南三省一市1:50万地质图进行坐标纠正,经过在ARCGIS处理形成西南三省一市行政区的1:50万地质图,并提出三省一市含碎屑岩地层数据,然后对含碎屑岩地层数据进行二次加工形成西南三省一市的红层空间分布数据。

This dataset primarily focuses on the 1:500,000 spatial distribution data of red beds in the three provinces and one municipality of Southwest China. The data is sourced from the regional geological survey teams of Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan. First, coordinate correction was performed on the 1:500,000 geological maps of the three provinces and one municipality in Southwest China. After processing in ArcGIS, the 1:500,000 geological maps of the administrative regions of the three provinces and one municipality were generated, and the clastic rock strata data of the region was extracted. Subsequently, secondary processing was conducted on the clastic rock strata data to produce the final spatial distribution data of red beds for the three provinces and one municipality in Southwest China.
