TNFa and IL-10 cytokine levels detected for macrophage transwell cultures in response to glycol-chitosan hydrogels crosslinked with .005%, .01%, .02% gloxal solution that contained vocal fold fibroblasts embedded in 3D culture. Also includes three control datasets for macrophage viability for: (1) all hydrogel crosslinker concentrations without fibroblasts (hydrogel monoculture); (2) co-culture with fibroblasts without hydrogel present; (3) monoculture of macrophages without hydrogel or fibroblasts present.. Data shown have been normalized to the total protein content of the transwell from which they were collected. Hence, values presented are in pg of cytokine per g of protein.
