These volumes include the following details on prisoners with suspected psychiatric disorders: prisoner's name, age, date of birth, offence, details of parents, brothers, sisters, school and work record and notes on the history of physical and mental illnesses. Typescript psychiatrists' reports, and newspaper cuttings are often included. Vol. 1 also includes entries for prisoners in the Observation Wards of Parramatta Gaol (20 July 1910-7 September 1911) and Darlinghurst Gaol (1 January 1912-29 June 1914). 1914-45, May 1965-Jan 1966 (3/14051-75). 25 vols.
