Chest X Ray

This dataset comprises 408 fully annotated chest X-ray (CXR) images exported from the india-data.org annotation platform on 27 February 2026. All images have passed through a three-stage human annotation pipeline involving an independent annotator (R1), a reviewer (R2), and a final approver, ensuring high-quality, consensus-driven ground-truth labels. 321 are classified as normal chest radiographs, 87 as abnormal with specific radiological findings. Each image is accompanied by a structured JSON annotation file capturing the independent reports of the annotator and reviewer, as well as the approvers final adjudicated findings including impression, anatomical region breakdown, image quality assessment, and projection details. Common abnormal findings include cardiomegaly, pleural effusion, mediastinal widening, consolidation, and various devices such as tracheostomy tubes and sternotomy wires. This dataset is strictly for research purposes. It does not include images that failed quality control — those 696 files are tracked separately in the QC not-passed dataset.
