Effects of afforestation on the temperature sensitivity of soil organic matter decomposition

This dataset provides raw measurements on the effects of afforestation on the temperature sensitivity (Q10) of soil organic matter decomposition. It includes carbon mineralization efficiency, Q10 values, soil physicochemical properties (e.g., SOC content, SOM recalcitrance), climate variables of sampling sites, and functional gene abundances. A total of 144 soil samples (topsoil and subsoil) were collected from cropland and afforested sites at eight locations in China.
