Data collected every 5min by the DST logger.

This dataset was used to publish the article "Sub-fat temperature variations and heart-rate adjustments in the southern elephant seal <i>Mirounga leonina</i> as a function of dive duration, depth, and water temperature".<br>This dataset contains 7 subsets : one for each individual and one for all.<br>Each individual subset contains 9 variables :Date_Time : date and time of recording,Tsc : sub-fat/subcutaneous temperature (°C),HR : heart rate (bpm),Sites : can take 3 different values depending on the date (when individuals are on land before departure, when they are at sea and when individuals are on land after arrival),Environment : details of the environment in which the individual is located (on land or at sea),diff_SolarNoon : time (hour), considering the difference with solar noon on some dates,diff_SolarNoon_interpol : interpolation of diff_SolarNoon from first to last value of diff_SolarNoon,diff_SolarNoon_interpol_AllJourney : interpolation of diff_SolarNoon_interpol when individuals are on land.Day.Night : corresponds to the time of the day (day or night).<br>
