Experimental dataset for: Mixed-mode fracture of porous, bonded snow This dataset contains the experimental results from mixed-mode fracture experiments on pre-notched snow beams, conducted at the WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF in Davos, Switzerland. Test configurations: ON4PB (Offset Notch Four-Point Bend) VS3PB (Variable Support Three-Point Bend) Files: ON4PB_raw.parquet — Master data for all ON4PB experiments (one row per test, identified by AFN) ON4PB_raw_info.parquet — Column metadata: abbreviation, units, data type, long name, description VS3PB_raw.parquet — Master data for all VS3PB experiments VS3PB_raw_info.parquet — Column metadata Each data file contains experimental metadata, sample geometry, snow density, load cell recordings, crack path coordinates, stress intensity factors (K₁, K₂), T-stress, energy release rates, and optimized Young's modulus from finite element model updating (FEMU). The companion *_info.parquet files document every column with its physical unit and description. The data can be loaded with Python using pandas.read_parquet().
