Spatiotemporal conflict intensity of the Russia-Ukraine War throughout urban-rural area based on multi-source remote sensing

This dataset provides a spatiotemporal assessment of the intensity of armed conflict in five oblasts (Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia and Kherson) during the escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict from February 2022 to March 2025. The development of the dataset combines multi-source remote-sensing data to construct gridded indices for evaluation, quantifying the destruction caused by the war from a dynamic and global perspective, and can provide reference support for humanitarian relief and reconstruction planning. The dataset consists of four raster data (in GeoTIFF format): built-up areas, conflict intensity in built-up areas, conflict intensity in non-built-up areas, and trends in non-built-up area conflicts. Their spatial resolution is 500 meters, and the projection coordinate system is WGS_1984_World_Mercator.
