Raw sequences data for the tomato plant infection experiments performed in manuscript "Time-resolved bottleneck analysis in bacterial infection dynamics" currently on BioRxiv https://doi.org/10.1101/2025.11.21.689558. Tomato plants were infected using a co-culture of ~120 neutrally barcoded phytopathogen Ralstonia pseudosolanacearum in an approach known as STAMP (Sequence tag-based analysis of microbial population). After infection, the pathogen content is collected. Sequencing of this artificial isogenic diversity is used as a tool to characterise the infection dynamics of the pathogen population during root infection. These data were used to develop dedicated time-resolved bottleneck analyses and identification of a root-barrier bottleneck during the infection of the plant (as detailed in article).
