Spatiotemporal Assessment of Google Airview Data Dynamics: Urban Greenery, Weather, Traffic, and COVID-19 Insights in Dublin's Micro-Geographies

We share the aggregated small census data for future studies. Our dataset integrates high-resolution air quality metrics, including concentrations of NO, NO2, O3, CO, carbon dioxide, CO2, and PM2.5. Traffic flow and density information provide insights into mobility patterns, while data on tree counts and density offer a measure of greenery. Weather conditions, alongside COVID-19-related restrictions, add further context, allowing for a nuanced analysis of their impacts on air quality and urban dynamics. The dataset is structured to facilitate a wide range of analyses, from environmental science and urban planning to public health. Researchers, policymakers, and practitioners can leverage this data to explore the intersections of urbanization, environmental sustainability, and public health outcomes.
