VTrans Structures - Bridges

Overview This feature service provides comprehensive spatial data on bridge and culvert structures managed by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans). Feature Layer: Structures The single feature layer included in this service, "Structures," contains detailed information about bridges and culverts throughout Vermont. It includes key attributes such as bridge number, name, highway agency district, maintenance responsibility, and historic significance status. The data captures condition classifications and scour plans, which are critical for safety assessments and engineering evaluations. Geometric point data locates each structure with approximate latitude and longitude coordinates. Additional attributes specify the route log bridge number, milepoints for route referencing, town and route names, bridge types, and design/construction types, supporting diverse transportation analyses. Geographic Coverage The data covers the state of Vermont, including all bridges and culverts under VTrans inspection jurisdiction, supporting asset management within this northeastern U.S. region. This is comprised of both State and Local/Municipal bridges. Data Standard This dataset adopt the SNBI Data Definition and is extended with state-specific attributes.
