Muricauda lutaonensis CC-HSB-11T is a yellow-pigmented, moderately thermophilic, Gram-negative, rod-shaped bacterium that was isolated from a coastal hot spring of a volcanic island (Lutao) in the Pacific Ocean, off the eastern coast of Taiwan. We represent the complete genome of M. lutaonensis strain CC-HSB-11, which is the type strain of the species.
