Phylogenomics of three Clarkia (Onagraceae) species

The goal of this study was to determine the history of speciation events in a triad of three closely related species of Clarkia. These three species were the subject of historical investigations into the process of budding speciation; however, evidence for budding speciation was largely indirect (e.g., differences in range size and asymmetry, shifts in ecology and mating system). We used targeted sequence enrichment to infer phylogenomic relationships among hypothesized 'progenitor-derivator' species.
