A survey of microbial communities in grapevine leaves, rhizosphere and soil using Shotgun Metagenomics.. Grapevine Shotgun Metagenomic Study

Based on high-throughput sequencing, we explored the microbial communities of the leaves, rhizosphere and soil of grapevine cultivar "Himrod". DNA was extracted from a single plant, acquired at a plant nursery in Copenhagen, in early spring. DNA was sequenced using the BGISEQ-500 short-read NGS platform.
