This data set contains the data presented in the publication "Effective cell membrane tension is independent of polyacrylamide substrate stiffness". This consists of Optical Tweezers data as well as Traction Force Microscopy of 3T3 fibroblasts as well as Xenopus retinal ganglion cells on several different substrates.
