We report the comparison of normal vs proximal tubular cell specific CrAT knockout kidney cortex by sequencing analysis CrAT was deleted in proximal tubular cells of mice using Cre/Lox technology (Ggt -CRE). Mice were aged out to 12-24 months when pathology and mitochondrial lipid "overload" were evident. RNA was isolated by the TRIzol method, libraries and sequencing were done using a Lexogen/Illumina platform.
