The samples were genetically tested at Huayin Health Co., Ltd. 580 genes closely related to the tumour were detected using high-throughput sequencing technology, covering all exonic regions of the 580 genes, as well as some intronic regions of some of the genes (regions where fusions often occur). The results did not reveal any gene variants related to targeted therapies. However, the results of genetic variants associated with patient prognosis and chemotherapy, IDH1 R132 wild-type; IDH2 R172 wild-type; 1p/19q not missing; and MGMT promoter methylation (+), suggest that the patient has a poorer prognosis but better sensitivity to temozolomide therapy.
