Which Social Capital Raises Health Spending? Relational Ties, Tolerance, and the Limits of Trust in 38 OECD Countries, 2007-2023

Data and Stata code reproducing the tables and figures reported in the paper. The deposit contains a strongly balanced panel of all 38 OECD members over 2007-2023 (N = 646), combining the Legatum Prosperity Index Social Capital pillar and its five elements with health expenditure, income, ageing, public financing share and urbanisation from the World Development Indicators, together with the estimation do-file and a README documenting the source series and their identifiers. The rule of law series used in the institutional quality check covers 34 of the 38 members (578 observations).
