We report the complete genomes of lytic bacteriophage PBM-3 (targeting avian pathogenic Escherichia coli) and its host strain PE144 from Pakistan. Phage DNA was isolated via plaque purification and amplified on PE144, followed by extraction using the Monarch HMW DNA kit (NEB). High-fidelity (HiFi) long-read sequencing was performed on PacBio Revio.
