Prospect Electricity was a re-incorporation of Prospect County Council in June 1993. The media releases pre-date this change, with material form 1989 printed on Prospect Electricity letterhead. It is thought that there was a transition period from when the State Government took control of electricity supplies in general in 1989 until formal proclamation of Prospect Electricity in 1993.
