本数据为青藏高原东部甘孜新市(XS)黄土-古土壤序列的磁学数据、粒度数据、色度数据、漫反射光谱针/赤铁矿峰高数据、有机质稳定碳同位素数据。我们按照2.5 cm间隔测量该剖面(10 m)的磁化率和粒度数据,5cm间隔测量无磁滞剩磁和等温剩磁数据,同时提供5组磁滞回线测量结果。分别按照10 cm 和20 cm间隔测量该剖面总有机碳(TOC)和有机碳同位素。磁化率实验分析在兰州大学西部环境教育部重点实验室完成,剩磁和磁滞回线分析实验在中国科学院青藏高原研究所大陆碰撞和高原隆升重点实验室古地磁实验室完成。色度分析在黄土与第四纪地质国家重点实验室进行。磁化率使用Bartington MS2型磁化率仪测定,无磁滞剩磁使用美国ASCIM-10-30脉冲磁力仪和Molspin Minispin小旋转磁力仪测定,等温剩磁使用ASCIM-10-30型脉冲强磁仪、2G-755超导磁力仪和JR-6A旋转磁力仪测定;粒度数据使用Malvern Mastersizer 2000激光粒度仪测定;色度和漫反射光谱使用CM-700d分光光度计测定。采用MAT-253同位素比值质谱仪对样品的δ13Corg进行测定。该数据提供了青藏高原东部地区末次间冰期以来的黄土序列的磁学性质和色度变化特征的认识,对研究青藏高原东部黄土古环境、古气候研究及其与周边大气环流之间的联系具有重要的作用。

This dataset comprises magnetic, grain size, colorimetry, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) goethite/hematite peak height, and organic matter stable carbon isotope data from the loess-paleosol sequence at Ganzi Xinshi (XS), eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Magnetic susceptibility and grain size data of this 10-m-long profile were measured at 2.5 cm intervals, while anhysteretic remanent magnetization (ARM) and isothermal remanent magnetization (IRM) data were collected at 5 cm intervals, with 5 sets of hysteresis loop measurements provided additionally. Total organic carbon (TOC) and organic carbon isotope samples were collected at 10 cm and 20 cm intervals along the profile, respectively. Magnetic susceptibility analyses were conducted at the Key Laboratory of Western China's Environmental Systems (Ministry of Education), Lanzhou University. Remanent magnetization and hysteresis loop analyses were performed at the Paleomagnetism Laboratory of the Key Laboratory of Continental Collision and Plateau Uplift, Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Colorimetry analyses were carried out at the State Key Laboratory of Loess and Quaternary Geology. Magnetic susceptibility was measured using a Bartington MS2 magnetic susceptibility meter. ARM was determined with an American ASCIM-10-30 pulse magnetizer and a Molspin Minispin spinner magnetometer. IRM was measured using an ASCIM-10-30 pulse magnetizer, a 2G-755 superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometer, and a JR-6A spinner magnetometer. Grain size data were obtained with a Malvern Mastersizer 2000 laser particle size analyzer. Colorimetry and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy measurements were conducted using a CM-700d spectrophotometer. The δ¹³Corg values of the samples were analyzed using a MAT-253 isotope ratio mass spectrometer. This dataset provides insights into the magnetic properties and color variation characteristics of the loess sequence in the eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau since the last interglacial period, and plays an important role in studies of the paleoenvironment and paleoclimate of loess in eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, as well as their links with surrounding atmospheric circulations.
