Results from two examples using the nested loop approach for topology and shape optimization of crash loaded deep drawn components to minimize the intrusion of an impactor

This dataset contains the initial design and the optimized design of a crash loaded bending and a crash loaded torsion example, optimized with the nested loop approach for topology and shape optimization of crash loaded deep drawn components using contact forces for the inner loops. In both examples the intrusion of an impactor was minimized. The initial design data includes the initial shell model and the voxel design space for both examples as well as the non-linear dynamic analysis results of the initial shell designs. The optimization data includes the shell model resulting from the optimization and the non-linear dynamic analysis results of the optimized design for both examples.
