Main objective of the proposed experiment is an investigation of spin textures in the anisotropic frustrated 2D magnet FeBr2. We aim to explore the phase diagram and unveil different types of the spin texture of 1 ML thick FeBr2 varying the average size of the islands. Making the islands smaller (decreasing the coverage in the sub-ML regime), we will decrease the IP (positive) shape anisotropy that will decrease the total anisotropy. This work would support our hypothesis that the reduced value of the saturation magnetization in the ML-thick FeBr2 is concerned with spin texture and test the long-standing theoretical prediction
