1H NMR metabolomics dataset of summer honey bees under Varroa destructor infestation

Brief project description:The honey bee (Apis mellifera) faces multiple threats that contribute to increased mortality, one of the most significant being infestation by the parasitic mite Varroa destructor. This dataset provides metabolic changes associated with Varroa infestation in the summer bee generation, based on analyses of honey bee body samples excluding the head, gastrointestinal tract, and venom. The dataset consists of 1H NMR metabolomics data generated and analyzed by the project co-authors Dr. Lee and Dr. Havlík. In this project, the first author is Dr. Jana Hurychová and the corresponding author is Dr. Pavel Dobeš. The dataset is intended to support comparative studies of honey bee physiology under parasitic stress.
