Antioxidant and redox effects of Hypericum perforatum in the Galleria mellonella: a 3R-oriented invertebrate model
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the supplementary materials associated with the research article entitled “Antioxidant and redox effects of Hypericum perforatum in Galleria mellonella: a 3R-oriented invertebrate model.” The data were generated to evaluate the effects of Hypericum perforatum extract on oxidative homeostasis and protein metabolism in the invertebrate model Galleria mellonella. The dataset includes biochemical assay results, phytochemical characterization, and raw data files supporting the findings reported in the main manuscript. The repository comprises the following components: GC–MS analysis data, including total ion chromatograms (TIC) and identified compounds with retention times and relative abundances. Biochemical assay data, including measurements of total protein, superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and malondialdehyde (MDA). Statistical analysis outputs, including ANOVA results and descriptive statistics for all experimental groups. Individual replicate data and raw experimental datasets, ensuring transparency and reproducibility of the results. All experiments were conducted using four independent biological replicates, with four larvae per group (total n = 16 per group). These data support the conclusions of the associated publication, indicating that H. perforatum extract modulates hemolymph protein levels without inducing significant oxidative stress under the tested conditions.
